Responsibilities

As a Service Advisor you are fostering relationships with customers. Combining your exceptional people skills with your ability to multi-task, you'll manage customer relationships and frequently serve as a liaison between technicians and customers.

 

  • Foster relationships with customers who need major repairs, warranty recall, or diagnostic service to vehicles and ensure their needs are met
  • Understanding major automotive repairs, warranty recall, and diagnostic repairs
  • Communicate any changes in the cost estimate or promise time with customers
  • Explain cost and time requirements to customers in detail and get proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed
  • Explain completed work and all charges to customers
  • Working as a team player with Technicians to generate working hours, and provide a great experience for customers
  • Ensure documentation and RO placement
  • Follow all applicable scripts
  • Ensure every customer gets an update on the status of their vehicle within quarter time
  • Ensure proper documentation to communicate with other service teammates
  • Follow all applicable scripts
  • Maintain excellent CSI at or above zone or region requirements
  • Follow up with customers and maintain high customer satisfaction

Qualifications

 

  • Must have exceptional verbal, written, and computer skills
  • Must have a friendly up-beat attitude and be a team player
  • Must have a professional attitude and appearance
  • Must have a strong customer service mentality
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred but not required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Proven ability as a Express Advisor
  • Must maintain top ranked hours of production
  • Must have above zone CSI and be up to date in Complí and all internal manufacturer trainings
