Our Semi-Skilled technicians at Lake Country Toyota will diagnose and perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, while following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.  The success of a semi-skilled technician is measured by efficiency, productivity, and attention to detail.  Our ongoing automotive technician training and state of the art technology allows our technicians to diagnose and perform repairs as easily and accurately as possible.  At the Walser Automotive Group, we pride ourselves in keeping our technicians competitive, up to date, and performing at a top level.

 

 

  • Responsible for handling work on the Exhaust system of a vehicle, changing and rotating tires, battery installation and battery cable replacement
  • Perform installation of accessories and shock absorbers, not including; A/C and air shocks
  • Responsible for replacing coolant hoses, mirrors, belts, signals, W/S washers, head Lamps and bulbs as well as aligning and replacing the lamp assembly and courtesy switch
  • Clean and Replace P.C.V
  • Diagnose and fix squeaks and rattles, wind noise and water leaks
  • Clock and cigarette replacement IF it doesn’t require the dash to be disassembled
  • Perform manufacturer minor recalls
  • Perform work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards
  • Examine assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
  • Communicate with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time
  • Road test vehicles when required
  • Understand, keeps abreast of, and comply with federal, state and local regulations; such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
  • Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
  • Document all work performed on the repair order
  • Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner
  • Embrace and exhibit Walser CORE values

The Lube Technician role at Lake Country Toyota, is the first step in our automotive technician career path.  We understand that opportunity for growth and advancement is key to happy, successful employment.   Walser offers training to get started in the lube technician role and will continue with trainings throughout the course of your career to encourage the growth and development of new skills.  In the lube technician role, you will perform basic vehicle maintenance and repairs, while following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.  At the Walser Automotive Group, we pride ourselves in keeping our technicians competitive, up to date, and performing at a top level.

 

  • Change Oil, filters, air filters and cabin air filters (if no physical alteration of the vehicle is required and the replacement of the filter would not require complex disassembly of the vehicle)
  • Lubricate the chassis, body, front-end and drive train
  • Check fluids
  • Replace windshield wipers and batteries
  • Perform inspections on Brakes, Hoses and Tires
  • Check inflation of tires
  • Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts
  • Document all work performed on the repair order
  • Communicate with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time

As a Lot Attendant at Lake Country Toyota, you will get the opportunity to work outside and drive a variety of new cars! This position includes maintaining the appearance of the lot and vehicles, ensuring all of the vehicles are stickered correctly, parking and rearranging the vehicles on the lot, and detailing. If you are interested in a sales career down the road, this position allows you to get great dealership and vehicle knowledge as well as direct experience with our sales team!

 

  • Assist the sales team with delivery of sold vehicles
  • Maintain a clean and orderly appearance of the lot
  • Stock in vehicles arriving for the first time
  • Ensure all cars get to designated service center for safety
  • Park, rearrange, and move vehicles on the lot
  • Ensure all vehicles are priced and stickered correctly
  • Ensure all vehicles on lot have inspection reports
  • Clean, detail, and gas up vehicles
  • Facilitate dealer trades within the metro area
  • Ensure Key Track Report is running
  • Assist in data entry of vehicles into DMS
  • Help Inventory Manager with miscellaneous tasks

As a Front Desk Coordinator at Lake Country Toyota, you will often be the first person a customer sees when coming into the dealership! You will be welcoming them with a smile, asking if you can help or direct them any certain direction; being their source of knowledge. This position also involves speaking with customers over the phone, paging customers or sales reps over the loud speaker, and assisting the sales team with administrative duties.

  • Greet and directing customers
  • Answer incoming calls

  • Daily processing of print and email queue in DealerSocket
  • Manage incoming BDC appointments (prepping folders and ensuring appointments are properly marked as Show/No Show)
  • Light filing and data entry
  • Order supplies

 

Saturdays: 8am-5pm.  Flexible with time off!
